Day 1 Amsterdam
Meet Tour Director at airport and start with a visit to Aalsmeer flower auction. Welcome Dinner is at a local restaurant (beverages not included).

Day 2 Amsterdam
Morning city tour of Amsterdam. See the Royal Palace, Dam Square, and a diamond cutting factory. Visit the Rijksmuseum to admire Rembrandt's "the Night Watch". In the afternoon enjoy a canal cruise, as Amsterdam is best seen from the water.

Day 3 Amsterdam
Today you travel to the village of Marken, a former fishermen's village with an open connection to the sea. Since the setting of the enclosure Dike, the sea became a lake and all the fishermen's villages lost their traditional livelihood. From Marken we take a boat ride to picturesque Volendam, where you may have your picture taken in a real Dutch costume. On the way back visit a cheese farm, and of course taste the wide variety of different cheeses. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 4 Amsterdam
Full day excursion to The Hague & Delft. First stop will be The Hague, the seat of the government and home of the Royal Family. An orientation tour will feature the Houses of Parliament, Palace Noordeinde (the Queen's working palace), Carnegie's Peace Palace and the Mauritshuis Museum, housing 3 famous Vermeer paintings. Continue on to the charming city of Delft, Vermeer's birthplace, and a city known for its Delftware, the famous blue and white pottery. Visit a factory, and continue to the town center to view the attractive city hall and notable New Church, where all the members of the Dutch Royal Family are buried. Return to Amsterdam and rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 5 Amsterdam
Full day free in Amsterdam. There is time to visit Albert Cuyp quaint street market, the Heineken Brewery, the Antiques District, or one of the other famous museums, such as the Van Gogh Museum, Rembrandt House, or the Anne Frank House. Farewell dinner in a truly Dutch restaurant (beverages not included).

Day 6 Amsterdam
Assisted transfer to Amsterdam airport for a flight home.
